We started the 5th day of #CATEYEbyCET with an outdoor energizer, that involved movement, fun and competition that made us ready for the upcoming day. We jumped into the day with recap of yesterday’s activities, debriefing the process of creating jokes and comedy acts. We shared our feeling, understandings and clarified what wasn’t fully clear to everyone. After the lovely discussion, we got back to our teams to work on finalizing our stand-up acts on social issues that we will perform in the afternoon.
Under supervision from our trainers Damjan and Irena, we continued with free writing of jokes, planning the setup, refining the punchlines and bits as well as writing the conclusion of our acts. After we finished with the final drafts of our stand-up acts, we started to rehearse our acts and delivery within our teams. It was quite challenging to create and refine our stand-up acts, however it was very fun task filled with laughter and joy.
Before the lunch and the long-awaited performances, we spoke about ways how to overcome stage fright and together brainstormed different techniques and methods for it. We shared our experiences in public speaking to different audiences and was how we behaved, dressed, talked, positioned, and controlled the room.
