After a wonderful lunch, the afternoon sessions of the second day of our training course “Comedy as a Tool – Enhancing Youth Engagement through Humor” started with a team-building activity around Krushevo. Split into 5 teams, the task was to exchange a pen for something more valuable with the local residents. We needed to do 5 trades, but each trade had to be more valuable than the previous one. The task was very exciting and the people of Krushevo were extremely friendly to us, so it was a huge success. The activity also allowed us to get to know better the city that will be our home for the next 7 days.
After we have completed with the task, every team shared their experience with the other participants in the plenary and we showed them the pictures, videos and objects as proofs of our trading skills. To complete the session, we have spoken about the experience, the team dynamics and teamwork during the activity.
The last session of the day was the NGO’s fair on which we had to present the partner organisations on the project in a creative way through simulating a Fashion show. We loved that we could be creative, and we all made interesting presentations that were also informative. We had an opportunity to present our organizations and to hear more about the other organizations: scope of work, goals, size, target groups, activities, successful practices, future plans and contact information. To end the day, we reflected on our day by choosing a word that today made us feel like, but the catch was that we had to find a word that starts on the first letter of our name. We also had chance to share feedback about the programme, the venue and the organizers team.
With dinner out of the way, it was time for the first intercultural evening, but we unilaterally decided to postpone it and have a Friday night out in Krushevo. Time to have fun and relax after such a eventful day.
