It is the last day of our training course, but there are still some important activities to do while in Krushevo. The final segment of our working agenda was to plan and implement activities with young people from the Krushevo’s high school “Naum Naumovski Borče”.
The idea was for us to practice everything that we have learned in the previous days as well as to engage the local youth into non-formal learning activities and educate them about intercultural learning and Erasmus+ programme. This activity was also meant to empower us to multiply and transfer the gained knowledge, skills, attitudes, experiences and practices to young people back in their local communities once they get back home.
We got together in the plenary, and we jointly brainstormed ideas what activities we can in the school with the students. We decided to be split into 2 groups so it can be easier to work with the students as well as to provide them more attention and mentoring. Then we got into the groups to speak exactly which activities will we do, what will be the topics, how we will start the introduction, what materials will we need and think of the timing. We decided to do an energizer, icebreaker, present briefly the part of Erasmus+ programme for youth mobility and do one activity from the ones that we have created yesterday. We also got time to practice a bit the activities, divide the roles within the team and prepare the materials needed for the visit.
When we have refined our ideas, we got back together in the plenary to explain the plans for activities so everyone can know what exactly will happen and be fully ready for the visit to the School.
