The arrival day for every participant of our Erasmus+ training course “Comedy as a Tool – Enhancing Youth Engagement through Humor” began a little bit differently. Some of the participants arrived in Skopje and had a van waiting for them. Three participants from Turkey, three from Slovenia, one from Macedonia and one from Poland embarked on that journey together. They had the time to introduce themselves, talk and enjoy their trip to Krushevo.
On the other hand, a lot of participants from Macedonia, Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, Serbia and Poland travelled green by carpooling and arrived at different times in the afternoon at Krushevo.
Everyone was greeted with a warm welcome from the hosts at Vila Gora and everyone had time to relax and enjoy a meal side by side with their fellow participants.
After the meal, we had the first introductions of the training course where the organizers and trainers introduced themselves and the main objectives of the course, as well as explained into detail how things work around here in terms of practicalities and logistics. Participants got introduced with the venue, rules that must be respected, the safety features, methodology that will be used and the support measures.
After the intro, everyone introduced themselves formally and shared their first impressions from Krushevo and their journeys to here.
To kick start things on positive note, we had a welcome party with good music and good chats. The night ended when the party did. It was a short party because most of the participants were quite tired from their trips. We are excited for tomorrow!
